Hi, I’m Cara.

I’m the person behind Moody Elements. I’m a dog mom, a chronic overthinker, and someone who sometimes just has to laugh at the chaos. I create apparel and little things that say what we’re all thinking, especially on the days we don’t feel like explaining ourselves. If you love your animals, need a little space, and have a sense of humor about it all, you’re in the right place.

The story behind the mood.

I created Moody Elements during a season of change, when life felt a little messy, moods were unpredictable, and humor became a form of survival. I wanted to make things that felt honest and relatable: pieces that could make someone laugh, feel understood, or simply say what they didn’t have the energy to explain.

A lot of that inspiration comes from my (Rescue) French Bulldogs. Neo, Riley, Cowboy and Ada, (German Shepard). Each have their own big personality, and they have a way of making even an ordinary day more interesting. They’ve been a constant source of comfort, laughter, and creative ideas. If you’ve ever looked at your dog and thought, same mood, you’ll understand why they keep finding their way into my designs.

Moody Elements is where those parts of my life meet. The RX Collection puts a playful prescription twist on things like overthinking, social battery depletion, and the moods we all try to manage. The dog designs celebrate the companions who get us through it, sometimes by being sweet, sometimes by being ridiculous and annoying, sometimes just by staying close when you need them the most.

I make these pieces for people who love their dogs, appreciate a little dark humor, and know it’s okay to have more than one mood. I hope you find something here that feels like you, or makes you smile on a day when you need it.
